Kuhn Poker

I just posted an applet that lets you play Kuhn poker against an optimal opponent at http://oursland.net/poker/kuhn/.

Kuhn poker is a very, very simple form of poker that was invented to study game theory. The computer opponent in this version plays a game theoretic optimal strategy. That means that you cannot beat it in the long run. It also means that as long as you avoid dominated strategies, it cannot beat you in the long run.

Calling a bet with a Jack (the worst possible hand) is an example of a dominated strategy.
