Make your own paid structure and use it on PAO

For windows Xp, i will try to explain how to make an new paid/tournament structure (sorry for my bad english)


1) in the following folder C:\Program Files\PokerAcademyPro2\data\logs\tourneys\tourneys
choose 2005circuit.xml ou 2005MainEvent.xml and duplicate it into the same folder
rename the new file (here Taz MTT.xml in my example)


2) Open the new file with a text editor




3) <details name> change tournament name !!!!!!!
You can also change buy-in, minimum players, number of players at table....


4) more low in the file in <prize payouts> change/make your own paid struture(cf tableau excel)



You can change the % of pax win, the number of seats paids....




5 )record/save the changes!!!!!!
then copy this new file and paste it into the two followings folders : C:\Program Files\PokerAcademyPro2\data_fr\logs\tourneys\tourneys
C:\Documents and Settings\"name of main user"\Application Data\PokerAcademyPro2\logs\tourneys\tourneys
you may have the same file (here Taz MTT.xml) in the three folders.



6) I show you the results




7 ) When you create a tourney for online use, choosse your own structure




8 ) Test on PAO

17 players in



17 players in--> 4 seats paids against 3 usually!!!




it works!!!! yeepee !!!







9 ) You can make and save your own blinds' structure in the following section of the file : "tournament levels"

For Mac Users:

To find the tourney files:

Applications/poker Academy/

There you have to access the content of Poker "Academy" ->

ctrl+clic then choose "Show content"

Then: Contents/Resources/Java/Data/Logs/tourneys/tourneys

Open one file as shown in Taz explanation, and modify it as well

You'll find the way for the 2nd place where to put the same file in:

Users/ "main user"/Library/Preferences/PokerAcademy/logs/tourneys/tourneys

I got a problem...
When i do this (to me i did nothing undiscribed to the file) the game says its not good.. invalid or sumfin... very strange, anybody can help?
