2009 FRENCH POKER TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

hi,

this post to congrat the "Free Hugs" team

they made a huge performance, killing opponents one after the others, the championship having 3778 teams of 5 french players

1st round : they qualified among 1000 qualified teams
2nd round : they qualified again among 200 qualified teams
3rd round : againnnn ! 50 qualified teams
4th round : qualified, being 2nd among 8 qualified teams

5th round :

the 4 best teams go to las vegas, each team having a different package ( Main event for the winners, a 3000$ buy-in tournament for the 2nd one, a 1500$ buy-in tournament for the 3rd ones, and $500 cash for the 4th ones, all that with travel and hotel expenses paid)

then ...

today, 5 heads-up
they were winnning 2-1
then a reaaal bad beat that sucks, freerider had KK, the other one had JT, freerider having 6300 chips against 3700 ... all-in preflop ...and JT won... after that freerider lost his HU

=> 2-2

and then it was very very very close, and the other team won

thus they finish at least 8th among 3500 teams, that's a huge performance, even if they wanted of course to go to las vegas
